This 1200VA UPS with battery pack is a cost effective, entry level UPS. The unit is ultra light and compact and is provided with a 12V100Ah sealed gel battery. The unit has a built in 20 Amp charger, and if left plugged in with the battery connected it will switch automatically to inverter power once the mains fails, switching will be less than 10 milliseconds. The inverter produces a 220V output with a stepped square wave that will run most equipment (we do not recommend motors are run from these units). It does not require input mains to start and can be used as a straight forward inverter. The battery is good for around 400 Cycles.
